What does it do?
It shows you your recent OFFER and WANTED posts, so you can keep track of what items you're still offering or looking for. It also allows you to easily mark them as TAKEN or RECEIVED with just a few clicks - so you can keep other people informed without having to compose a whole new post.
How do I get to it?
Click on the link on the left hand side:
What does it show?
When you click on the My Posts link:
- The screen will briefly grey out as the plugin finds your recent posts - those within the last 31 days.
- Then you'll see your posts. It just shows the subject lines - but you can click on the subject to go to the individual message.
Here's an example:
What do the buttons do?
You can see that the plugin gives you a button to click, to mark an OFFER as TAKEN or a WANTED as RECEIVED.
If a post hasn't had a response within the time your group uses, you'll see a button to Post Again:
How do I filter posts?
Normally the plugin will hide posts you've marked as Completed, and TAKEN/RECEIVED messages, but you can click on the Show Completed Posts button to show them:
Here's an example showing an OFFER which has been TAKEN, as well as the TAKEN message itself:
Because the OFFER has been TAKEN, you don't see the button to Mark TAKEN any more - you just see an indication that it's already been TAKEN. If you hover your cursor over it, you can see when the corresponding TAKEN was posted.
How do I use it?
Suppose you posted an OFFER on the group.
- Once it's been picked up, you go to My Posts, click on the Mark TAKEN message, and post that to the group.
- Or if you've not had a response, then go to My Posts, and click on the Post Again button to send it to the group again.
Or if you posted a WANTED to the group:
- Once you've recieved it, you go to My Posts, click on the Mark TAKEN message, and post that to the group.
- Or if you've not had a response, use the Post Again button.
You'll also see the same buttons for your own posts on the Messages page.
