Get messages right
If you've used Freegle (or other similar schemes like Freecycle), the chances are that at some point, you've had a moderator ask you to correct something in your mail - for example, you might have got the subject wrong. That creates extra and delay hassle, because you only find that out after you've send your message.
So wouldn't it be great if you could get the messages right in the first place? That's what this is for - it's a tool to help you create suitable messages for Freegle groups:
My Posts
Plus you get tools to work easily with your recent posts. It shows you your recent OFFER and WANTED posts, so you can keep track of what items you're still offering or looking for. It also allows you to easily mark them as TAKEN or RECEIVED with just a few clicks - so you can keep other people informed without having to compose a whole new post.
Hiding Messages
And it also hides posts you probably don't want to see:
- COMPLETED posts which are no longer available - if an OFFER has been TAKEN or a WANTED has been RECEIVED
- TAKEN and RECEIVED messages themselves.
That way you can see when an OFFER is still available - or a WANTED is still outstanding.
If you want to see all the messages, then you can press the button to Show Completed Posts. [[|]]
Map of Posts
If your group has enabled it, you can get a map of the posts on the group, like this:
You can see the posts near to you, and click on them to reply.
All within Yahoo
And once you've installed, all this works within Yahoo's web pages - so you don't need to remember to go to another site, or sign up anywhere else - it all just comes for free.
