The way the plugin matches up is to:

  • Remove all spaces and tabs
  • Remove all punctuation
  • Remove anything in brackets (because it's probably a location)
  • Remove the keyword and add the appropriate pair keyword (TAKEN for OFFER or RECEIVED for WANTED)
  • Search for a post which is later than the one it's processing but before any duplicate of the one it's processing.
